This lo was done for Tricia's challenge: Poke fun at ourselves, I never would have scrapped these pics otherwise!!! Yup, I made fun of myself, who wouldn't wearing that goofy hat. I did both twists, I handmade the buttons and lettering. I also used paint, the tags are painted then added brown paint to distress, the buttons are also painted.
The large tag says: This was a spur of the moment weekend at BVJ. We had no intention of going since I just had my cast off. As we were driving through Camrose our friends called and said stop for a drink, next thing ya know, we've borrowed my sister's trailer and we're setting up camp and buying tickets.
The only thing is; we weren't prepared, we didn't really have the proper clothes. I bought this SILLY HAT for the 1 hot day. I pretty much made fun of it all weekend: not realizing I was looking like a complete goof!!!"
Top right pic says: "After goofing around I'm trying to fix my hat, how much luck do ya think I had? Bottom left pic says: "It rained so much we spent time in the casino. I had terrible luck, but I finally won playing KENO!"
The last 2 pics are of my friend and I'm making fun of him too, he can handle it! It says: "Darren's hat is as bad as Mine, LOL!! He forgot his sandals so he was wearing my flipflops till he bought these lovely shoes, (sarcasm)!
