Left page of a 2-pg LO about the morning of our wedding day. Papers, borders, and title tag are all from Anna Griffin's Charlotte collection, which just works so well for wedding LOs. This photo of my DH is one of my all-time faves; it's at the reception hall as we got everything set up. I also like the picture of my mom and me at the beauty salon - it's a great picture of her.

Quote, upper left: "What greater thing is there for two human souls, than to feel that they are joined for life - to strengthen each other in all labour, to rest on each other in all sorrow, to minister to each other in all pain, to be one with each other in silent, unspeakable memories..." - George Eliot

Journaling: Tim woke at 3 a.m. on the morning of our wedding to find me sitting on the floor of our hotel bathroom, surrounded by seating charts - I'd woken in a dead panic, convinced I forgot to seat someone. Neither of us could get back to sleep. Our nervous jitters had nothing to do with getting married, but rather with fear that we would forget one of the thousands of details or items we'd planned so hard. But since we had so much time, we went ahead and started loading up the vans with everything, crossing off Tim's checklist and relieving our mutual anxiety.
This odd anecdote is one of my favorite memories of our wedding day, because it reminds me that from the beginning, our marriage has been built on partnership. We are an incredible team when we work together - which is what a marriage should be all about.
