I can't believe I am posting this picture. Now you all see the true Julie, lol.

Journaling reads: Believe it or not, this was not my usual attire for school. Bedford Junior High would have "spirit days" throughout the year, usually on football game days (this was Texas, after all), and everyone would dress up for the event. We had hippie day, pajama day and, of course, nerd day. Probably not considered politically correct in these times, but this was at the height of Steve Urkel the ubernerd's popularity. My costume and pose were very much inspired by this sitcom character. It was fun to take a little break from the highly competitive fashion world of the 8th grade and just let loose for a day.
