I made this over a week ago, but due to the stressful past week, I'm just uploading it now. Made this with the intention of putting it in my Etsy shop. However, I love it so much, I just can't bear to part with it. I made a second similar one to put up in the shop and hopefully will make more trinket boxes soon.
For the base, I used a piece of Rhonna Farrer French Twist paper and altered it by smearing it in paint and then rubbing it off with a tissue. The design shows through just so, I really love the effect. Never tried it before. I collaged the top with vintage ephemera and glued vintage lace to the edges with a vintage button and twine in front to help keep the box closed. TFL! :)
