After much consideration and research into what I do and don't like in the scrapping world, here is my first scrapbook page layout. I tried to include all of my favorite things like things with wings so there are lots of jewelled butterflies and a dragon fly. I love sparkle so there are also tons of crystals. Flourishes are definately my things, my house is decorated with them so I tossed in some of those as well. The picture is a picture my hubby took of me (excuse the tiny flash on my cheek) and I didn't think I looked too bad for 40 (June 28). I hope it didn't turn out too busy as there is alot going on but I figured since it was my first one I wanted to try everything (brads (the row of squares in the top center are fancy scrolled letter brads), eyelets (in flowers and inspire leather piece), ribbon, flowers, crystals and circles). It is really hard to tell but in the small green square is a flower whose center if that same color as the polka dots. The entire page was made with my own color matching as not one thing was from a coordianted set and next to nothing was name brand. I am a newbie so I would like some comments on what I did right and what I could improve on. Thanks
