This is beautiful. I did something similiar with us in the middle, and individuals on the side, in the dressing rooms getting ready. But, I have it on canvas as a picture in our great room. I love Anna Grifiin's papers. Bless you both on your wedding.
Aaaaw Ruth Anne, you really nailed it with this layout. Yes, your DH looks ready to burst with joy and you are absolutely beautiful. How did you manage to navigate the staircase, without falling on your face? (retorical)
I've got to ask, how long is the train on your wedding dress?
I always appreciate it when an artist takes the time to write an informative description. And I REALLY APPRECIATE it when I get a SHOUT OUT also.
Luv to you...
I am so envious of how your wedding album is turning out...everything for the ceremony is matching so wonderfully! This is a GORGEOUS lo! Love the paper ribbon folding (it is a wonderful element that I like as well, but as you said time-consuming so seldom does it happen).
2-pg LO of the moment my DH and I saw each other for the first time all dressed up for our wedding. We decided to take our formal pictures with our wedding party and family before our ceremony - hair and makeup were fresh, and the day's schedule worked better this way. But we asked our photographer to help us capture that first glimpse. He did a great job - I had a lot of pictures to choose from for this LO. I love the look on Tim's face! I decided to use black-and-white photos of each of us alone, then a color picture (on colored papers, as opposed to the grey papers I used for the black-and-white photos) when we came together.
All papers by Anna Griffin, from the Charlotte collection and other old standbys. I cut out the heart in green, then did the border around it - it was a bit time-consuming, but the only way to make sure I matched the shape of the freehand heart.
The pleated paper ribbon on the title was my first attempt at this AG design standard. Easier than I expected, but I could never imagine doing a whole frame this way. (To see what I mean, check out my friend The Viking's amazing work on this site.)
