This is so adorable - I love that photo and the story of how attached you were to her. She looks so happy with you by her side. This just makes me smile!! Beautiful touches as well!
Wow, this is just beautiful! I love the layers and edges of everything. (ps. I have nine aunts and uncles on each side of the family, trust me, when I get going on a heritage album people really will get sick of 'em...hehehe)
I could never get tired of your heritage LO's!!! You do such a fantastic job with them. I love this LO and the pic is fantastic. I remember my great-grandmother wearing dresses like that all the time. She would wear them even when she was out working in the garden.
Don't you dare stop the Heritage LO's. I Love them all! I am working on a Heritage album for my Mom & where do you think I get all the ideas & lifts??lol
This is one of the best I have seen. Just gorgeous. My great grandma was like that too. I always wanted to be around her. I hope my grandchildren will feel that way about me too.
I love heritage layouts!! (but you must know that by now LOL!!) Wonderful wonderful photo - love it! I have never seen prima bling items and this prima crystal thing is killer!! I must find a place to order some! I love the black and gold pieces - almost look like old earrings! Wonderful!!!
i adore it all. i must be old then because heritage is what i love most...thanks for reminding me to pull them out and work on them!! I love your inspiration!
I NEVER get tired of heritage LOs (you've seen MY gallery haven't you?? I have one album devoted to heritage LOs!!)....This is beautiful!! The picture is magnificent and your work with it is too!! The title is precious, and the papers and embellies you've chosen show a lot of thought!! This inspires me to go back to my envelope of old photos and do some more heritage LOs!! Be on the lookout!!
I'm never tired of your heritage pages- they're always so beautiful!!! Love this layout- stunning! Pretty colors and embellies- just love that black bling!! Such a sweet photo and the title is great! To my faves!
Magnificent! I will never tire of your heritage layouts (I'm old...er too) I love the way you edged that handwritten paper. Perfect job of distressing!! The colors are so perfect!
Are you getting tired of the heritage layouts yet?? LOL! If I wasn't so old, I wouldn't have so many old photos!!! This is a picture of me and my grandmother...and I was probably about 3 years old. The paper is some old K and Company I've had for a while....I used Prima Stamps in the corners, some "old" buttons, Prima flowers, the swirls are from Niklindesigns at Esty...LOTs of ink...and that scalloped piece I cut with my 12" QK die...Love that thing! Oh...and that viney bling is Prima crystals...just got that! The journaling is tucked behind the photo and reads:
I don't know the date this photo was taken, but I believe it was sometime during the year, 1953. This is my Grandmother Pace (Grandma Perdue's Mama). I remember my Grandmother as a very soft-spoken woman. I was about five years old when she died, but I can remember that I always wanted to follow her around no matter where she was going.
