I just started looking at the thread for our color challange and saw that I had missed some. I am so sorry, this is wonderful. I love the picture, it is precious. The title, how cool. The journaling, amazing. The tags are great. I LOVE this lo.!!!
What an awesome design! I love the circles! And, a great job with the white color challenge! I like how you used a very light patterned paper without taking away from the overall "whiteness" of th elayout
Carol, this is so beautiful. I love how you made the white into an antique look and just a tiny splash of color. But it's your journaling that's my favorite! I'm tearing up... thinking of my sisters.... very very touching! I hopw your sister's seen this!!!
This is so cool! I love your subtle use of color and the heartfelt journaling. It's neat that you added all the reasons you loved the pic when you were younger plus all the reasons you love it now. Great way to see how your perspective changed as you matured!
Wonderful job! I love the picture and the paper that you used, it's perfect! I also love how you used the splash of color with the names, wonderful job!
This is my take on the Sept. color challenge. Sorry for the scan - it's a little funky on the bottom. There is a white rub-on of the word "my" on the circle S if it doesn't show.
Journaling reads: "I can remember loving this picture since I was a little girl. I played with it so often that it definitely shows some wear & tear (thank goodness for image editing software - hehehe)! I loved it because Dad took & developed it. I loved it because it was black & white. I loved it because I thought it was fun to see what we looked like when we were so young. I still love it for all those reasons, but I've added a few more. I love it because it reminds me what a wonderful childhood we had. I love it because it reminds me that we fit our roles as oldest & youngest perfectly. You were a leader, I was a follower. I thought you were bossy, you thought I was a baby. We looked alike, but we were different. You were daring, I was shy. You rode horses, I played with dolls. We've had our ups and downs. We will always be different. But, we have grown to appreciate those differences. And it's nice to know that you will always be my big sister & I will always be your little sister."
