for the june scrappack challenge:
paper clips (2) :used to tie ribbon around- strictly for embellishment
clear index tab plus paper insert (1): on journaling tag
film negative strip (1): painted pink and used under small pics ( i also used it as a stencil to do the border on the columnar paper)
Time card slips (2-but had to use only one): for journaling purposes under big pic and painted
Columnar ruled pad sheet (1): painted white and used under pics
aluminum chain- 15" (1): used as embellishments on pics
red satin ribbon 12' (1) : wrapped around paper clip (thought it looked like the ruffles in the pics)
striped ribbon 12" (1): wrapped around the other paper clip and painted pink (also reminded me of ruffles)
star sequins (3): used on film negative strip (draws attention to little pics and it's a reminder that these dancers are STARS!)
star stud (1): on film negative strip (see above)
mini square brads (4): on edge of big pic
Journaling (leer- which means to read): I know this picture is out of focus and blurred, but i totally love the movement it conveys. the dancers at xcaret were top notch and i loved every minute of their performances. every time a new set of dancers came on the floor and started a traditional mexican dance, all i could think was how Mom would love to see these dances. I have these pictures, and dan took some videos, but neither do justice to the sheer energy the dancers brought to their performances. Dance on!
