Journaling:
I was very fortunate to have had 3 baby showers! The first was given to me by my coworkers at ARHS. They held it at ********** house. They were so generous-decorations, plenty to eat, and lots of gifts. The biggest gift was the stroller/infant car seat. That gift alone would have been enough, but I got so much more. My mother-in-law, and her sisters, hosted the second shower. Most of the big items (pack-n-play, swing, high chair) were given along with many cute outfits, books, and other play toys. Finally, my mom and sister gave my third shower. I received just about everything else plus full bedding, and room décor, car seat, rocking chair, etc.) My entire registry had been wiped clean. I admit I was a sneak and constantly checked my registry at Babies-R-US online. However, I really didn’t know about the first shower until that evening when Jim slipped and told me afraid that I wasn’t going to show. Ann told me about her shower and though I had thoughts about the third shower, I wasn’t entirely sure. Everyone was extremely generous and we were so appreciative of everything. I couldn’t wait to decorate the nursery with my gifts for baby!
I also made a booklet that shows other pics of gifts received.
