Text: After Katie's ballet recital we went to Washington, DC, with Nana, Alyssa and Alyssa's boyfriend Robert. The first night in DC we went out to eat hamburgers. the restaurant was definitely questionable, but our trip improved after that. We toured the city and saw so many amazing things. The Vietnam Memorial was probably the most touching. I don't think there was a dry eye anywhere along the wall. The Capitol was beautiful and the Lincoln Memorial was very imposing. We also enjoyed Union Station, especially the Godiva store! Katie loved all the fountains.
