I began as a graphic artist and have been using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for years. I'm a recent novice to scapbooking, but I love being able to mix both of my passions for the digital world (computer graphics) and the tangible world (paper crafts).
My daughter and I have been adding rhinestones to all of our scrapbooks and paper crafts to enhance themes such as: star, shine, glittering, radiant, brilliant, sparkling, glimmer, etc. We also use the rhinestones to color coordinate pages or cards- reds, fuschias & pinks for valentines...orange, jet black for Halloween! These flat-back rhinestones are so versatile since you can attach them to any surface by means of glue, settings, or these jewels can be sewn-on. Our favorite site is: www.rhinestoneny.com. We've used the tiffany settings in replace of mini brads on our paper crafts, as these settings can "hold" another embellishment besides being a great fastener. Lastly, we've purchased the sampler mixed bags for cropping events and kid’s craft parties.
