I'm the guest host over at Method Playground http://methodplayground.blogspot.com/. Go check out my challenge...it's all about fibers! Plus there is a super fun RAK involved!

Journaling:
When Allan and I were dating and he was on a missionary's income he couldn't give me a huge bouquet of flowers or other expensive gifts, but every Friday he would bring me a single carnation. Just one. A simple act and reminder of his love for me. It is a memory that I cherish and whenever he gives me just one flower I'm reminded of it. Large bouquets of flowers are nice, but I am partial to single stems.

Techniques:
Yarn Border: I punched holes (using the polka dots on my patterned paper as a guide) along the top edge of my layout and crocheted shell stitches into each hole creating a unique border.
Label Holder Frame: I created a circular frame using chipboard label holders by stitching them to my layout in a circular shape around my photo. I then placed my journaling within the frames of the label holders.

TFL!
