Final part of my layout about going to see "The Sleeping Beauty."

Most people- At least people my age anyway- probably wouldn't ask for tickets to the ballet for their 25th birthday...but I did! I wanted to see a "real ballet" in a "real theater." Spending most of my life dancing ballet, I wanted to watch...instead of dance and hear ir from the wings.
My mom really came through- as always- and we got two tickets to see the ABT dance "The Sleeping Beauty." It was ABSOLUTELY Amazing. From the dancing to the costumes, I was in awe. I'm almost sure I didn't blink once during the three hour show!!!
What made me smile the most was when I realized I had a tutu at home that looked just like the ones these pros were wearing. That and the fact many of them were wearing Gaynor Minden toe shoes- the same pointe shoe brand I wear! It was one of the best dance nights I've ever had and I so want to do it again.
