Kai’s second real 4th of July and what a beautiful day! We could not have asked for better weather!
The sun was shining and there was not a cloud in the sky! We celebreated by going out
for dinner with our close friends, Jason, Darci and Christian Oliver.
That eveing we attended the fire works over the river on nana and papa’s house-boat.
Both kids had a blast out on the river. It was Kai’s first boat ride of the year
and he loved it. Even more; he loved the fire works over the river. It was the first
time he truly enjoyed the fire works, as last year he was so little that he slept through them.
Both kids owwwed and awed as the sparks shot off into the air.
And while both kids were extremly tired and cranky by the end of the night,
it was truly a 4th of July that our family will remember for a lifetime!
