this is just so pretty! i love all the colors and the distressed look!! how did you make it look so good with all the edge-coloring that you've made on all the little strips with text?
i also agree with the speaker before me: if you can do this, you can quit smoking! :) i believe in you!! it's such a strength just to admit to oneself that you have an addiction and another great step to decide that you want to quit. i think you're well on your way there! :) keep up the good work!
cigarettes & chocolate...oh dear..I was addicted to smokin but finally quit after a real tough battlle ....chocolate ..however....is still too good to give up !..moms need something to keep them going !( apart from scrap)hahaa
This is a fabulous page! I can relate very well to what you've journaled about.. its very powerful and touching.. and beyond that, your distressing on this LO is amazing. I absolutely love it!
I'm right there with ya on the eating and binging. I'm learning slowly that certain foods are "triggers"...what a good way to battle your triggers...best of luck!
WOW !!!!!!!!!!! More powerful stuff !!!! I won't bore u with a long story but after 35 yrs of smoking & trying everything to quit, it was accupuncture that finally worked ! Good luck !!!
I can relate so much to this lo!!!! THank you for being brave enough to post it! I too keep having to think of my kids and try to make better choices. Gorgeous lo too (that goes without saying)!
Thank you for sharing this LO. The presentation and sentiment tie together in such a beautiful and powerful way. I've thought about using those tulle circles in a LO before, you did it well. Just the right touch.
WOW~~~ Very powerful... thanks for sharing such an intimate part of yourself. It is inspiring... I want to be able to scrap the not so happy parts of my life. You've shown me how... THANKS!!!
Wow! your journaling could have been written by many people universally I think, and your answer is correct - we all need to love ourselves -- great lo, love the way you distress and mix colours, really love this LO...GRC

This is really great, Rebecca! The journaling is personal, yes, but the question you are asking is universal and I think everyone can relate. Fantastic job!
This is a very personal LO,made just for me,really. I know that women are always hard on themselves,so,someday,my dd might learn a little something from this as well. TFL! Journaling: Do I really love myself? Of course,I have to say yes.... But then I take a closer look... Throughout my life,I have had an addictive personality. Currently,I am addicted to cigarettes and binge eating. I have days where I don't smoke, eat right, and take long walks. I also have days where I smoke two packs and eat an entire chocolate cake. I want to stop poisoning my body. I need to quit for myself and my children. Today,I vow to think everytime I reach for junk food or a cigarette. For my kids AND for me. Why? Because I do love myself....
