This is the inside of the birthday card I made tonight for my mom's b-day, which is Sunday (7/13). This is only the second card I've hand made, but I like it so much better than my first. It's much more my style.
Instead of dying the edges (like I did the front of the card), I simply put the turquoise paper on a brown BG. I dyed the tags (and strings) with Tea Dye distress ink and wrote "Happy Birthday" on them with a turquoise glitter gel pen. Then I fastened a white flower with a pewter-colored mini brad. I added the birds and flourish with clear stamps.
The empty space at the bottom left is where I'll sign the card before I give it to my mom.
