This is my boyfriend and his mother on mother's day! I love this picture of them (she told me she hates it though...she thinks it makes her look fat) I think she looks great though so I used it anyways! The tag is a quote by Emmerson that says "Men are what their mothers make them". I thought that was so perfect for the kind of man that Bob has turned into!!!
This is my first attempt at a collage-type layout! It was especially hard for me because I had to combine old with contemporary to make the photo work with the dark colors. I like how the metal "mother" came out on the top right. I put some metalic rub-ons on the MM metal word and then used clear embossing powder to give it the wet/shiny look and also to keep the rub-ons from smearing on the other pages in the book. (I am not very artsy so this was a lot for me). I walnut inked the satin ribbon for the aged effect and the slide mounts as well! I used brown MM ink to ink the orange bazzill paper.
