A black widow spider! Recently our Taekwondo Grandmaster was in town and we were moving some stuff at his old house. I Turned a pot over and there was Black Widow and mate ( black widower? ) I scooped the Lady onto a stick with warnings for all to keep away as I took her to a tree. My warning went unheeded and the male did indeed bite! I of course was so worried! The sympotoms of a bite can mimic a heart attack and the poison has a tendency to raise blood pressure. The males do indeed have venom tho luckily its not as potent as the females.
Anyways, all was well in the end and this Widow was found by the water spigot beside the our pool! Cant get away from them!
