This was such a fun pack to do and I learned a little along the way... Like it is really hard to use a tape runner with a napkin that is two ply!!!
Here are the items used and where they are placed:
1. 12" wired organza ribbon( dyed blue) is on left side of page underneath strip of star napkin.
2. Stars and striped beverage napkin (painted, inked cut up and torn) is first a mat or photo and also as embelishement on left side of page I also used a small peice for the flag.
3. 5 pop dots it is hard to tell but they actually are raising my photo up for deminson.
4. 8 bamboo blocks (sanded, painted , and hammer distressed) make up the flag in bottom right corner.
5.buttons ( painted and inked) are first on the top right hand side of page above napkin (2) as ancors for doodles on the top left and two bottom corners of the page (3) and the remaining three are center for the mini flowers next to the photo on left.
6. 2 yrds floss ( this i painted with red***) used to sew in hand drawn doodles on bottom two corners and top left corner.. also used to sew on various buttons.
7. 6 red and blue mini flowers ( all inked) all are used to left of large photo three all alone and three nested in larger flowers.
8. 3 cream cherry blossoms ( Painted bronze****) all used to left of photo in nested flowers
9. cluster of berries used as center of large nested flowers to left of photo

The letters from Freedom are done in cardstock from the George Cricut font and the Let and Ring are stamped letters. I sanded, washed and inked blue card stock and sanded the cream star cardstock.

*** to paint the floss I took a dab or red paint and lightly dipped one end of the floss in to it, then ran it between two fingers and repeated the process at any point in the fiber where the paint ran out. This gives the sewn floss an already distressed look for sewing.

**** To make the nested flowers I hand drew a four petal flower and cut out two patterns for each flower then I inked and wet them being very careful not to tear petals, I dried it quickly with a heat gun( this makes the ink look older and also srinks the petals a little for a more aged effect. Then I took bronze and carmel paint and painted the petals and reinked the edges, nested them with the already painted bronze cherry blossoms and then added the berries as a cent for my flower!
