Yes! Love the layout and love the story! I'm not surprised your daughter aced the project! It isn't easy to write as a small child -- it is a great story and deserves to be told and the two of you have done a beautiful job of honoring and preserving a precious memory. KUDOS to you both! Thanks so much for popping in and letting me know you posted this. I LOVE it!
On Nat'l Scrapbook Day I created a LO of my DD with her favorite toy and told a story about it. To see that LO go here: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/201621/view/1439161/-1/0/1.html. I was asked to make a page to go with it with the actual cartoon that was drawn, so here it is. This was originally on textured cardstock that was painted and torn and each piece was attached with thin twine so that it unfolded down. This is what it says: "My momy throwed him away. But why?" "Fred in throw up." "Fred being washed." "Do you want me to show you again cause it happened six or seven times." "He turned green." "I forgot waht happened next. I have to call my momy." "My momy put bleach in the washer to make him not green." "The bleach ate Fred." "Poor Sir Fredrick of Pukebottom." "He was my monkey." "He was orange." "I miss him!" "Me without Fred." "Fred." She aced this art project in college!
