This page is about us releasing a package of ladybugs (1500, or 1/3 cup) into our backyard garden. The package they come in describes their life cycle, and directs you to let them go at dusk after you water the yard. They are natural, organic pest control. I made the ladybugs on this LO from recycled plastic! So fun! Just use plastic with a #6 on it inside the recycle symbol (usually food-to-go containers), draw & color it, bake it on a cookie sheet at 350 degrees for approx 1 minute...it shrinks and hardens. I hand sewed the red trim on the right, dotted the black pp with white pen, and my dh painted the Basic Grey metal frame red for me. Used a Becky Fleck July sketch for this LO. TFL :-)
