Here in Cincinnati, a bunch of companies bought the pigs and had them painted by artist for a fun raiser. Pigs were displayed through out Cincinnati , Fountain Square, along the streets. The Reds had a couple of pigs to represent the BIG RED MACHINE DAYS. It was very much fun to find them.

So cute! If it means anything, DH and I saw a blue and pink painted cow on our honeymoon. I'll have to dig out that picture and scan it!

Wow! I think he's kinda cute! We have the same thing here, but it's with cows. I made dh take a photo with the last one I saw. He thought I was absolutely nuts! (But he's learning, lol.) Blessings, Deb

I went to a place in central Florida last July that had horses done like this and earlier this month in Okinawa there was a cow exibit in a botanical gardens. These are so fun. I hope you get to go back and photograph many more little piglets.

I love it when a city does this, we have had Charlie Brown, Lucy, etc. here in St Paul (I do not live in Minneapolis) and it is such fun to get a map and track them all down. One city had Bison and another boots and another Dala Horses. Whee, a bit of the crazies is cool.

oh this type of art is very popular these days. Many cities choose a sculpture and comission artists to paint them then they are usually auctioned off to raise money for something. We had hokie birds in my hometown for Virginia Tech, A town here in PA did bears, I have heard of bulldogs in Georgia and Fish in the north west. I am sure there are many more. I bet you could photograph lots of different types of pigs there!
