These pages are dedicated to the MINI Coopers that almost happened but didn't.
The page on the left holds the specifications and image for Rupert, the MINI I orginally specified and thought of buying. I call it MINI v1.0. (I changed my mind on the Hyper Blue after seeing an Electric Blue in real life).
The Union Jack on the left lifts up and reads:
Since I first noticed MINI, I wanted one in Hyper Blue with white bonnet stripes. I knew the car would be named Rupert, after the very British character of Rupert Giles (played by Anthony Steward Head)on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. But when I saw the Electric Blue MINI at the Detroit dealership, all thoughts of Rupert vanished....
The page on the right holds what Bill would specify if he was buying a MINI. Hence the MINI v1.5.
The Union Jack on the right lifts up and reads:
When it comes to cars, Bill's taste is always traditional and expensive. In his world, the ultimate MINI has to be British Racing Green with a Union Jack roof. And have the high-end, high-price John Cooper Works performance package. What else can you expect from a gearhead?
