What a doll!

My daughter, Taylor, has grown attached to one of my old cabbage patch dolls. When we were moving a few weeks ago, I actually found the doll's birth certificate in a box of some of my old things...what luck!

Taylor,
Everytime I look at you and your doll, it brings such happiness to my heart. You see, this particular doll was one of my dolls when I was a little girl. I had purposely hung onto almost all of my toys...dolls, barbies, etc. in hopes that one day, I would have a little girl who would love to play with them. You have definitely become attached to this doll. It all started one night a few months ago when you didn't want to go to sleep. I went and got this doll out of the closet and you immediately gave her a big bear hug. You slept with her the whole night and I never heard a peep from you. This is the first toy you have slept with. Every night, she is by your side, just like she was when I was a little girl.
