I don't have my scanner here yet so I had to take a photo of the LO. I can't wait until my own things arrive here! The pic of me is a self-portrait from last month's Photo A Day Challenge. I used some Japanese washi paper for the background and mizuhiki chord for the crane. Some of the embellies (ribbon and little flowers) are from Helena's scrap challenge. My favorite color is purple, but can you believe I chose a pink cast just to match Helena's challenge embellies?
Journaling reads: My first week in Japan and I break my wrist playing catch! Wearing this cast is the most uncomfortable, painful experience. I can't wash myself, dress myself or drive. Luckily I can still eat AND I'm married to a great guy who knows how to cook and doesn't mind take care of me! Greg maintains, though, that if I break anything else, I will have to move out. Guess I have not been a very good patient!
