I've wanted to do this sort of layout for awhile but kept putting it off. Instead of the obvious aspects of my life (like I am a mother of 2, wife of a great man, etc.) I tried to find the things few people know about me. And I loved Scrap-Time's quote "Life was so much easier when my clothes didn’t match and boys had cooties" so tried to work that in.
I was inspired to do the string art around the center by an art piece I recently saw. It was a boat made by putting nails into a slab of wood and then string was wrapped around the nails to make the boat. It looked awesome and far more complicated then mine :o) I plan to explore this more with future layouts.
