My first swap item...and my first altered tray.
I used crackle technique along with a silver leaf rub on this tray. I had so much fun making this I'm making several for Christmas gifts.
Silver leaf rub is not recommended to use on scrapbook pages because it is not acid free. It's best used on wood craft objects.
To use silver leaf rub: place a small amount on your finger and rub on your project. Use a soft cloth to burnish and then coat with gold leaf sealer. You can then finish the project with any protective sealer of your choice...I used triple thick for it's extremely gloss shine.
