You have such a good attitude about it. I'm sorry we can be so mean as children. Thankfully we grow up! How old were you when you first had an artificial leg?
You are so open about this here, are you this open about it in real life? or is it easier to just conceal it as much as possible? I so admire you positive attitude.
Interesting to see the full view! A good friend of mine has an artifical leg also. And when I was a kid the man that lived across the street from us had a hand missing. He always wore a hook too. I'll never forget him sitting in our house and that hook getting caught in our couch! We all had to laugh...even him. The other neighborhood kids were scared of him though. TFS!! =}
I have shared different parts and views of my artifical leg. Well, here is yet another view! Growing up, kids often referred to it as my "fake" leg. Sometimes Brady & Peyton still refer to it that way. I don't mind because they are not doing it to be mean like kids and some adults did when I was little.
