Pumpkin Patch "Live and let Dye" Challenge

This is for the decathalon Challenge, "Live and Let Dye!"


I used orange Koolaid to dye the monogram "P" and all of the pumpkins. I also used a green koolaid to dye part of the backing on the larger photo.

I also inked my pumpkins with CTMH oak brown on the edges, autumn terracata in the center and one if their greens for the stem. I didn't think to iron the pumpkings or the "P" to make it lay flat and i think that is why I was able to darken the center edges and give it a raised texture look.

This is Evelyn at 11 months old and myself with her. She had been walking for about 5-6 weeks...hence the nice shiner on her cheek. She is such a sweet girl and looking at this page clutches at my heartstrings for the precious baby. Aaaarrrgghhh...I just want to squeeze her and kiss her!


I hand journaled in the file folder behind small picture and on both tags. I thought this would add a nice personal touch since it's such a personal LO and photo's.

Your 1st time going to a pumpkin patch. We went as a group with the Mom's club and Grandma Linda and Auntie Stephanie came with us. Their was a fish pong and you got to feed the fish. They also had some farm animals and you were able to pet the animals. Then we went to the planting field and planted Broccoli.

You walked through teh hay maze with the help of some friends.

They had a pumpkin patch and you found your favorite pumpkin to take home.
