Did you actually ink the original photo??
Again, I really love your use of patterns and colors. You're eye for color is so strong. The elements on the page, I think are floating too much. They're not grounded to anything or eachother. I'd prefer to see the elements attached to verticle or horizontal lines, or perhaps the photo placed off center.
Although, to be completely fair, I'm not sure I'm seeing the composition in its true form as you seem to have the same challenges I have with "stitching" my scans together to get a full 12x12 page. I get those same diagonal shadows on my layouts. It drives me nuts!

I love this!!! I love the sewing- i just purchased a small machine and am struck by pages who have the stitches done so artistically in placement, etc. Great page!
Sherrise - The way you have used the fabric & stitching is awesome, I love it, especially th piece holding the tag! You have done a great job with this. I love the pic & the flowers (beautiful colour) - Andrea
I love all of the soft colors and textures on this page. The sewing is great, the tags, and I love how you used decorative brads in the middle of your silk flowers to adhere them to the page. This looks great, WOW. You did a wonderful job with this. A really finished look..
My latest heritage page. I used fabric on this layout.. sewed it to the page. I couldn't believe how it matched the pp! I also did some inking and painting to distress the photo and the other elements. Is there enough? Too much? Let me know!! TFL!
