SHCG: Great photo op you nabbed here between the squirrel and the bird. The scarlet macaw's colors are so vibrant in your photo. I like the way the eagle is peeking from under the limb. Nice job on photo placement, and with double matting. Good eye for picking out this bg pp. It works well with the photos. I don't think I would have been able to make such a good choice, because it wouldn't have been as obvious a complement to me. My only suggestion is the same as the previous page.
SHCG: Christy, These photos are beautiful. You really captured the vibrant colors of the birds here. I wanted to repeat comments from the other page: I love the papers that you used for the background and the mounts. Particularly, I love that they are colorful, but muted a bit, so that your photos take center stage. Super job!
SHCG: Another great page, love the pictures ~ that poor squirrel, I feel so bad for him LOL I'd suggest overlapping all the pictures instead of keeping that one on it's own. Great job :)
SHCG: Not entirely sure how I feel about all of the overlap in this specific page, but this is a wonderful page for this 2-page set! Previous comments from page 1 apply here too. :)
hehehe! i love squirls and i have a mc caw that would have taken the little pests head off. i'm suprized the little guy survived the encounter1 beautiful shots and lo. th bg paper is perfect.
SHCG - (Some comments copied from other side) I am SO DIGGING these colors & pp! Fresh 'n fun feel to these patterns & the title font. Awesome pics & excellent journaling - you photograph incredible pics, Christy. I could see the inking in the same color (dk green or brown?) from the title block, around the white journaling blocks, just for a bit more added emphasis. Fantastic vacation 2pager!
(Page 1) We had not even entered the gates to Busch Gardens when I saw a photo opportunity. I just had to get a photo of my girls with two people dressed as “Fire” and “Water” walking on stilts. It wasn’t until we were setting up the pose that we realized Amber had dressed in “Fire” colors and Jamie in the colors of “Water”. This is one of my favorite photos from the vacation.
Just outside the bird exhibit, the girls posed in front of a statue of a Clydesdale, one of the symbols of the Anheuser Busch legacy.
(page 2) The bird exhibit was neat. We just so happened to catch the two photos of the parrot squawking at the squirrel who was stealing his food! It was really comical to watch as the parrot managed to scare the squirrel away once only to have the persistent pest return for another try.
