Journaling (on back) Reads: On July 1, 2008, Aslan decided that he was going to help Granny make the bed in Andrew's room. (1) As soon as she got the sheets on Aslan rolled himself up in the top sheet. He looked like a little hot dog rolled up in a bun. He looked sooo cute all rolled up in the sheet. (2) But Granny did not realize that Aslan was still on the bed, he blended in so well covered in the sheet that she put the light blanket on without realizing that he was still under there. As she got ready to put the top blanket one she asked me why I was taking pictures of the bed! I pointed at the little bump in the bed and she laughed. She had not seen Azzie in the bed. (3) Then She had to find Aslan in that mess of blankets and sheets. I, the quintessential scrapbooker, already saw a page or two in the making, so I kept on taking pictures. Granny wrestled with the sheets and got right down to him. (4) Finally, Granny found Aslan. When she pulled the top sheet off, Aslan looked up at her with the most innocent face and licked his lips. But he still was not moving anywhere. (5) Granny was serious about making this bed, despite my giggles as Aslan refused to move. She managed to put the sheet and blanket on by getting Azzie to move on top of the pillow, but after she got the light blanket on, Aslan moved back down to the middle of the bed to roll around on the freshly made bed. (6) Eventually, Aslan’s antics became old and Granny decided to move him off the bed. (Notice I was nowhere to be seen, helping at least, only taking pictures.) So she carefully picked him up off the bed and moved him over to the other bed which was already made up. (7) Then Aslan was standing on the bed against the wall and looking over at the other bed with such longing. He went to the very edge of the other bed that was already made up and was getting ready to jump over to the bed Granny was making up. I told him to stay and you can see the sad look on his face. Just like he was saying, “But I want to help, Mommy!”
