Us taking the ferry to town (Hong Kong).
Journaling: 13 km or 10 miles and 20 minutes from Discovery Bay to the heart of Hong Kong on a hi-speed catamaran. It can hold over 480 passenger. The cost is $26 HKD each way. A 50 Ride monthly pass is $1160 or $23.20 HKD. That is about $3 USD per ride. It is half price for kids. The ferry runs every 10-12 minutes during peak morning hours, 30 minutes during the middle of the day/late evening and every 20 minutes the late afternoon/early evening. No refreshments are served but you can bring your own and sit on the upper deck.
