This layout is for a circle journal group I'm in. The theme was "bumps, bruises, cuts, and scrapes." I am deeply in love with this layout LOL and I'm bummed cuz my picture didn't come out very well. I wanted to take it outside to get a good photo but it's super windy today so whatever! :)

I used a real live Band-Aid for the accent on the left-hand page, and the photo mat is a gauze pad from my first-aid kit. :)

Anyway, the journaling reads:
Oh Boys. I've been a mother of boys for less than three years, and I've already been unpleasantly inducted into the Band-Aid Hall of Fame. We've never taken them to the E.R., yet. No broken bones or ingested cleaning products, so far. But we've had one outpatient surgery (with three stitches), two bouts with jaundice (one requiring hospitalization), numerous disturbingly not fun blood tests, one unexplained and distressingly itchy allergic reaction, three tumbles down stairs (one from the top and one involving a somersault), four ear infections, one case of RSV (complete with nebulizer), approximately fifty colds, one completely horrible reaction to penicillin, multiple poop and pee collections for various reasons (none of them fun), and one child who cut eight teeth in five weeks. And that doesn't include all the everyday bruises and scrapes that require all of Mom's TLC and that perfect Mr. Incredible Band-Aid. Or midnight puke and fever sessions. Or diaper rash, heat rash, unidentified rash, and mosquito bites. They've fallen off couches, fallen off chairs, fallen off stools, fallen off steps, fallen off the potty, fallen out of bed, fallen off their own two feet, and fallen directly into their Mommy's heart. Being a mother of boys means automatic inclusion into the Band-Aid Hall of Fame. And I have to say, though the induction hasn't been pleasant, there's no better place to be than kissing owies and hugging away the hurts. Now, if you'll excuse me, it's Mommy and Mr. Incredible to the rescue!
