I just took my first airplane flight ever this June and have quite a few photos like this. Wasn't sure if I would scrap them, but I think LO looks kind of neat. Nice use of paper that you didn't even like to get something you did. And great stitching on the swirls and title.
The pictures in this layout are from my flight from Baltimore to Chicago then to San Francisco. I was amazed at how clearly the photos came out.
The background paper is Die Cuts with a View - White inked with blue. The airplane and banner are from a K & Company paper that I hated, but loved the plane and banner. I cut out the plane and matted the banner with Die Cuts with a View glitter paper. The dotted paper is Colorbok inked with blue. The matted plaid paper is KI Memories - My Guy. The teal cardstock came from Bazzill cardstock scraps then sanded. The arrow is grungeboard, painted white and inked with blue. I stitched "Flying High" and the flourishes. The question mark is grungeboard painted blue and highlighted with white acrylic paint. The journaling strips were made with a Dymo labler.
Thanks for taking a look....
Pic #1: Close up of a body of water...I'm thinking the Great Lakes, but I really have no clue where we were at the time.
Pic #2: Wing of the plane and a mountain range from a distance.
Pic #3: Close up of the mountain range in pic #2
Pic #4: Distant shot of the body of water in pic #1.
