What a creative and outstanding idea!!! I am going to put that in my idea book, for future reference!! The kids must have had a fabulous time!!! And then taking home a flower too!
Beautifiul layout - I love your lettering!!
How cute! I loved making dirt cake. I love the colors and the title work. What an awesome idea to plant marigolds in the pots for their "party favors".
I bet they really enjoyed it too. Very cool LO. Very cute LO for this. I love your popping flowers and I've always been a fan of journaling that goes around the main subject.
LOVE this!!! Lots of great details...love the pop dot flowers! Your stamped title looks FAB!!! Love the pprs...and I love the pics...I think they look great!
First of all let me say that's one wonderful thing to do for Sarah's birthday, she must have been so proud that day (I know my kids would have been!!)!! It seems you're not only creative in your scrapbooking but in your daily life as well!!! Second ... I love this design, I love the green border with the yellow dots at the bottom, it matches the picture with the table with the yellow pots on it so well!!! The circle in the middle with the flowers and leaves popping out kinda looks like the top view of a flower pot ... And I love that title, fun letters. Great page Betty, love this!
This turned out tooooo cute! LOVE those letters- soo fun and cute! Fabulous design! Love the pp's and the way you pop-dotted some of the flowers! Love all the stamping and the big arrow, too! Faves!
Journaling is on hidden card attached to ribbon and reads: "When Sarah was attending First Baptist Church Preschool, I made these little flower pot desserts for her class on her 4th birthday. I bought individual plastic pots, filled them with chocolate pudding, crumbled Oreos on top for the "dirt" and even had a little gummy worm coming out of the dirt. Then I stuck a silk sunflower in each one. We had green Kool-Aid to drink. After they finished off their pudding, we washing the pots and helped them plant marigolds in the pots. These were their "party favors". They all seemed to really enjoy the little party. Sarah's gift was a little pop-up book called "Garden Friends". April 17, 1993."
I really had fun with this layout even though I was working with old pics (not as clear as I would like them to be). Love the K & Co pps and my new alpha stamps! Everything is handcut. I pop dotted some of the flowers to give a 3-D effect. Thanks for looking!!!
