My younger sister headed off to London to live, in early 2007. The John Denver song 'Leaving on a jetplane' became our 'theme song' pretty much and now whenever I hear it I think of Lyn.
This layout isn't what I imagined when I was inspired to make this, but the pictures don't work with what I saw in my head. Any constructive suggestions are welcome.
Journaling says 'A girly get-together before Lyn moved to the UK. Chet O'Connell was playing at the Stetson Club in Dairy Flat. Mum, Ange, Lyn, Eileen and I went along to dance the night away. Chet sang 'Leaving On A Jetplane' for Lyn, with his own amusing lyrics. It was the perfect farewell. Enjoy London, Lyn!'
The script in the background is the lyrics to the John Denver song.
