This is a layout I made of myself... this photo of me was actually taken this past spring by my 5 year old son before the snow melted!! The mini folder holds more photos and journaling!! The mini file has been attached to this page with swirl clips but I have shown what it looks like opened!!
Journaling:
Like so many other women I know, I spend the majority of my time caring for the important people in my life. I wanted to therefore do a layout for myself and titled it "JUST FOR ME".
I AM a wife; a mother of three busy, busy boys; a sister; a daughter; an aunt and a friend. I AM a Registered Nurse by trade but my true passion is scrap booking! I LOVE Starbucks, ice hockey games, Survivor, low rise jeans and the Music Group Rascal Flatts (I could listen to them all day long). Although I grew up as a true girly girl, I have acquired my husband's passion for the "outdoors". I have gained an appreciation for hunting and truly do enjoy fishing and quadding. There are many things that my children and some of my friends do not even know about me such as that I can speak Japanese and have traveled to Europe. One of my greatest accomplishments was SKY DIVING in California this past June! It was a thrill unlike no other!
What I have come to realize is that I love being all of these things to so many important people in my life whom I adore but most of all I will always be ME!
Technique:
Inking absolutely everywhere! I started out with a plain RP chipboard tag, covered with RP pp torn, added RP rubons and RP and May Arts ribbon. The RP card keeper was also plain and embelished much the same way!!
