Very cool, love the handmade paper for the hills. They way you did the HOLLYWOOD sign and the cute little billboard. Also love the use of drywall tape.
I love how you used the drywall tape! I just tried it on a layout the other day!! love that stuff! I love the stars and the drywall tape behind the letters!!!!! very clever!!! love it!!!
Wooooo Hooo!!! Look at you go girl!!! Grungeboard and mesh? Wow, you are smokin' and it looks FABULOUS!!! Really like how you cut the strips to make the star ;)
This is my DS at 2. He's 6 now. I've been wanting to scrap these photos for so long now. It's for quite a few challenges. 1.August stars-used my grungeboard for the first time and made the star frame with drywall tape which I painted silver. 2.Innovative design 3.Nickname challenge-Journaling on billboard I made reads"Ever since you were a baby, I'de call you "Baby Hollywood" but, now that you've grown it's just "Lil Hollywood". You're such a ham and just love people. You're especially happy when you have an audience to perform for. Even strangers are just drawn to you. That's why I'm always saying "You need to go to Hollywood." 4.What have you used as paper- Well I MADE my Hollywood hills by making my own paper for the first time. I used brown craft paper, sawdust, pine needles, tissue paper, and drywall tape. It was so much fun to do, but time consuming. 5.Someone adorable with traces of yellow-included the twist and used a bow at the top of the mesh star. 6.August techniques with an edge.I handcut the zigzag blue paper along with the title and billboard I made for my journaling. I painted toothpicks siver for the posts. I used drywall tape painted silver behind the Hollywood sign. I used grungeboard stars and arrow which are painted, doodled on the embossed parts, and then distressed. I made stitches for the bows.
