Czech Trip 2008
Hukvaldy, not only the castle but the town underneath is closely connected with classical music. One of the most substantial and original opera composers of the 20th century, leos Janacek, was born here. On the way back from Hukvaldy Castle we decided to take the paved road down rather than the trail and discovered this statue. It is one of Lyska Bystrouska or The Cunning Little Vixen in English - a main character of one of Janacek’s finest operas.
