I was asked to do a breast cancer awareness page. I don't have any relations that have had breast cancer so I chose one of my favorite celebrities. Shirley Temple movies were my escape when I was younger. I think I have seen almost every movie she made. I had no idea that she suffered from breast cancer. She was 44 when she had her masectomy and was the 1st celebrity to go public with the diagnosis. I am 44 now and could not imagine going through that. She is a survivor that I admire
