This is my take on the August Card Sketch challenge. The challenge was to do a joy fold card. Instead of doing a rectangle card that overlaps I did a school house shaped card. (May look familiar - I based it off a house card I made a while ago =)!) I cut the apple from some pp and also used diamond glaze on it. I trimmed the notebook paper to the size I wanted and then punched holes and tore into it to make it look like I tore it from a small note pad. The inside of the school is just white so I can write inside, kind of boring to look at, so I only opened it enough to show that it does open up. I made this for a close friend that just got hired to teach 4th grade and today was her first day of school.
