Sorry for the bad scan. The picture just came out really dark, I tried scanning this about 5 times haha and everything is still so dark. I started making a 9x9 album of Shawn and I's latest trip to Gatlinburg :) This layout really means a lot to me, I had a lot of fun making it :)

Journaling:

When I look at this picture, tears come to my eyes. A year ago I wouldn't have made it to the top of Mount Le Conte in the Smoky Mountains. It would have been hard for me just to walk a mile without falling down and not wanting to get up. I'm so thankful for the fact I started working out and it wouldn't have happened if it was for my unbelievable determination to be healthy and Shawn being here for me. Well, here I am, almost to the top of the mountain. When we made it to the top, a feeling of amazement swept over me. I was so proud of myself for making it and proud of Shawn for being right by my side sweating it out. Our hike was quite a long one to get to the top. The sign at the bottom said it would take six to eight hours for the round trip. We hiked it in about six hours. Most of the hike was uphill and there were beautiful views at every turn. Shawn and I have been hiking before but never on a six hour hike. It's so great to know that I am healthy and able to do such a strenuous hike. I can not wait for more adventures like this one.
