I love your pictures and they look perfect how you placed them! And I love how yoiu did your journaling. I'll have to look at Irene's site and read about that reverse look of the bubble wrap!
This is tooo cute!! Those pics are adorable- and your layout is perfect with them! Love the waves and all the cute embellies! The title work is cute, too! And the holes in the paper- very cool technique- will have to try that! TFS
You know I like to use lots of pictures. I think you did a great job and kept the pictures the focal point. I really like how you made the paper for your journaling. I'm going to have to try that! by the way, Thanks for all your gracious comments on my Build-A-Bear layouts. I haven't scrapbooked in about 5 months so it felt really good to get a few done.
I love the lettering that you have used here, what a neat idea - I have never thought of using pattered letters! There are just so many great elements in this layout I can't say enough about it!!
This is spectacular. You did such an awesome job on the whole thing. love the stitching with the shells and stone in it. The matting in red is perfect and that holey paper is just the right touch.
Peggy, great use of 3 pix, LOVE that hole~punch technique...will have to try it! I really like the red matting, it makes the photos pop. They look SO adorable in those scarves!
Oh my, Peggy, this is beautiful as always! I absolutely love the string surrounding your son's picture; what a creative idea and it makes a beautiful and subtle accent! It's stitching? You are a master!
Very cute layout! Love the pics - so darling! Great techniques! I know what you mean about the one pic at a time - I've got boxes and boxes of photos to crop!
Is that sand paper or did you do a 12x12 photo of the sand? I love the wavy paper on the bottom w/ the shell. The reverse look thingy looks awesome. as does the title and the journaling. I love it! Your kids are precious and the LO is awesome.
This is really great Peggy! Love the netting and those 3 shells linking the photos together - very clever! That "reverse look of the bubble wrapper printing" is something new to me - must look it up when we're home again. Will give you a big wave and shout "hi" as we near the Dutch border tomorrow morning! With love, and take care. Ann
WOW Peggy, what an awesome lo, as always!!!!!!!!! Love the stitching over your sons pic, looks like a fishing net and love the paper behind your son with the holes punched in it! I'm gonna have to try that one!!! Really great lo, great placement of the pictures, shells, title, it just all flows together!!!! You did a super job!!!!! xxxxxx Kim
awesome lo Peggy. I don't think I would have ever thought of the sand paper, it just makes everything come together. And the alpha's and shell, did you hand cut those
It looks wonderful, my sweet friend!! I love the way you used the red to mat the pictures...it really makes them POP! I also love the title. You rock girl! ;)
These are my 3 beautiful children on the Cretan beach. Since these are the only pictures I have of them on the beach, I wanted them all on one page ... this gave me so much worries!!! I did find it very difficult to include all the pics and still find some room to add a title, journaling and some extras to make the page a little prettier to look at and not overdo it at the same time. Ah well, I will have to practise, because I have way to many pictures to keep scrapping only one at a time!!
For the journaling and that small piece of paper behind the pic of my son, I used a technique which I found on Scrapperlicious' blog called "reverse look of the bubble wrapper printing" ... I love that look, so thank you Irene!!
The journaling reads: "These are some of the few pictures we have of the kids on the Cretan Beach, because even though they had a fun day, they much rather stayed in the pool with the slides."
