Justin and Dan have been friends since middle school, through thick and thin. After Justin and I got married, their friendship cooled off a little. But when Dan and Jennifer got engaged, they started hanging out together a lot more. As the wedding came closer, so did they. Justin stood in Dan's wedding, and congratulated him like a good friend. About a week after the wedding we got a phone call that would change their friendship, and Dan's life, forever. Dan had been in an accident on his honeymoon. He was in bad shape, paralized from the neck down! It was devastating for everyone involved. Justin has become closer to Dan over the past year and a half since the accident. Through the surguries, physical therapy and more pain than I can even imagine, Justin has tried to be there for Dan in every way a friend should.
