Great stitching, love the colours and your journaling but ... auch, over 10 pounds (omg!!!) and 36 hours ... I feel for you, mine just popped out LOL!!
Sweet pics and page! Love the colors and pp's! Love the way you framed the big pic with the circle of brads! And your journaling is great! Wonderful work!
10 pounds??? Oh my! When I gave birth to Samuel it took more than 30 hours, too. Mankind would be stopping to exist, if men were the ones becoming pregnant, haha. :-) LIke how you included all those embellies!
Beautiful!! Those papers are perfect for a little baby boy l/o!!! I love your brad circle and the really fun rub-ons, I've been wanting to play with those for a while now!! love what you've done here!
10 pounds!! Yikes, that's gotta hurt! My biggest baby was just over 8 pounds, and that was big enough~! So sad about his poor little shoulders though. But it is cool to have the picture, to remember this event in his life!
So sweet - hard to remember Matthew being so little! LOL! Love the lettering, the circle of brads and the cute pps! DD - my favorite!!!! Such a cute layout!
My DS, Matthew, at 2 weeks old. I scanned in my "old" photos (1979) and tried to brighten them up a bit. All pprs are Daisy D's Lullaby Collection, cardstock is bazzill. The tags are all DD rubons and "Matthew" is DD sticker letters. The journaling strips read:
After 36 long hours, you finally arrived. I was so excited when they told me you were a boy! Back in the 70s, doctors didn’t use sonograms like they do today, so we were not prepared for a baby weighing over 10 pounds. We thought you were about eight pounds. Because of your size, your collarbone was broken during delivery and you had to wear this brace around your shoulders for about six weeks. These photos were made when you were just 2 weeks old and weighed about 12 pounds. It doesn’t show up in the photo, but your hair was a beautiful red!
