the black edging of the fab colored circles make them stand out...very nice!! :) I like the details of the smaller/tapering dots the best...its details like this that separate the ordinary from the extrodinary!!!way to go :D
This page is so cool! I love your journaling. The story is so cute and complete! And the journalig circles are really eyecatching and I like their rainbow colors! But the circle around the middle picture really caught my eye, it like - jumped off the page!! Awesome!
I so appreciate all your journaling. I was explaining to another person on this site that I need to be more mindful of doing that - - if I can't make it fit on the page that I need to add a note on the back of it....and do it right away to make sure I capture my feelings for the page while really fresh in my mind. I end up "journaling" if you will, in the description section of this site....but need to try and translate that to the page. Just love your spirit and sense of fun....it comes across with each and every page you share!
Thanks for that, Maureen
Great page!! I just love the circles. And thanks for sharing your journaling. I like to know what's going on, why and when. And of course what you used and how you used it!!
Peggy...job well done! You certainly used circles to your advantage...does not look like too many, and the way you placed them is perfect! I really like the black & white horizontal strips and matching highlight circle around the center photo. I also like the tiny white dots (bling?) on the photo corners opposite each other on the LO. Super! xx
Love the way you journaled in those pretty circles, and I love circles (just in case you hadn't already noticed; LOL)! The black and white stripes really make this LO pop! Fabulous!
This is so cute! Love all the fun colors and the journaling is great! She is exactly like my little one... she usually gives up on her first unsuccessful attempt but when she sets her mind... OMG! Look Out World Cause there she GOES! God Bless Peggy she is darling! TFS!
Love it! She is going to love this journaling when she gets older! How neat that you recognize this trait in your daughter and also the difficultness on your part to accept it.
Awesome layout!!! I love all the circles of journaling! I totally agree...the journaling MAKES a layout sometimes! Beautiful colors, sweet pics...excellent design!
Christina has every right to feel "trots". Really had to smile at this one, Peggy, because I've just this minute written you a private message about our family's recent cycling (and mine!) in Holland! What a coincidence! The design is beautiful and the colours lovely (en ik ben ook trots dat ik uw Hollandse journal begrijpen kan!)
I lOVE all the circles. That's what drew me in to look at the layout. I use alot of circles and ovals in my layouts. When I want to get a layout done quickly I just stick to the squares. The journaling is beautiful!
I pretty much followed her design, but had to find a way to include all of my journaling, in this LO, the journaling is equally important, if not more so, than the pics. So I decided to put them into the circles, which is why I added so many of them. I don't particularly like circles all that much, and I don't think I'll ever use that many on one LO again!!
For those who are like me ... curious about what other people write on their LO's, here's the journaling:
We had been trying for so long to get you to ride without your side wheels, but you always refused. Even the fact that almost all of your friends, including the ones who were younger than you, already knew how to ride without them, didn't matter to you. Daddy had tried to teach you once about a year ago, and after a lot of nagging on our part you finally - reluctantly - agreed. But you couldn't hold your balance, you weren't really doing your best, and the very first time you fell you gave up already. That is why we were so surprised when all of a sudden you announced you wanted to learn how to ride your bike. Daddy immediately took the sidewheels of your bike, gave you one little push ... and you immediately rode by yourself! This story is so like you ... we can't force you to do anything, you always do things when and how you want to yourself. You're the one who decides when you're ready to learn new things, and then you usually succeed at them too! You're a smart girl, who knows when and how to deal with things, and though this stubborness of yours isn't always easy for us, it is exactly that which makes that you're good in practically everything you undertake. We are so proud of you!
