Yes, I have a grand daughter like that...she starts hunting "bites". She's only 18 months old and can out eat her dad, who is no slouch by any means. Amazes me...I had to beg my children to eat...they neither ate nor slept their younger years...don't know how they grew...but this baby makes up for all of them....She never met a "bite" she didn't like.

She eats like a logger.

Journaling reads..
This little girl eats like a logger. How does a logger eat? you ask...well, alot and often and whatever doesn't bite back.
Today she ate a whole can of mandarin oranges, after her mom fed her at home. Yesterday she ate a bowl of a mix of raisins, dried cranberries and fresh pears, after her mom fed her at home. Sometimes it's a bowl of vanilla yogurt with berries, or tomatos, or carrots or fresh peas. Doesn't really matter. She likes my tomato basil crackers, or the parmesean basil ones. She also likes my white cheddar rice cakes. She seems to like everything i have. Does she say "hi nanny" when she comes in the door? NO. It's "EAT".. and if i don't get up and get her something to eat she comes and takes me by the hand and leads me to the pantry where she stands studying everything and telling me what she wants.
I get a big hoot out of this little girl. She is quite a character with her un-fillable belly and impish grin. I love her beyond all reason. She is my little grand-daughter Ashlyn Lucille. The sparkle in my eye and the ache in my heart. She is going to grow up too fast, so i must go on making these pages, and someday when she is older she will know her "nanny" loved her so much.
