What a beautiful girl! I totally love that she's rocking the Dr. Martens... man that dates me... I used to wear them all the time during the "grunge" rock era growing up in Seattle :) lol!
LOVE IT! Great layout!
A while back one of the grrlzz in my cg thought of challenging us to a steampunk inspired lo (don't remember if she ever really got around to it), and I had to look it up. Turned out it was a genre I had been drawn to for some time that I never knew had a name. Love your dd's sense of style and marking this page as an inspiration for future los if I ever decide to give it a try myself.
I've never heard of, Steam Punk Haute Couture, but I'm sure your daughter personifies the look. And I really like your layout interpretation. Did you take the photo's too? They really look professional...
THAT is adorable!!! I've never heard of this style before (I have 3 boys...probably NOT going to wear anything like that! lol) LOVE this LO - cute cute cute!
She looks so tall and thin - like a model! What a unique outfit and title! Did you make that name up or am I just behind the times? LOL Great job on this LO!
This is such an awesome LO! I love the different clocks, the paper you chose. The tag and stickpin are great too. And the outfit - is the bomb of course!!
That's such a cool look, she looks so pretty, but I'm sure she looks great in whatever she wears, she's such a pretty girl, I love her hair too! The Lo is wonderful, you never let us down!!
Ok, I just loved this so much I had to comment again! What a great way to display her 'fashion phase'. =) I would love to have something like this now to look back on. Great job!
Awesome LO, Shawn! ....love the illustrated plan in the background...How PERFECT! Miss Ryan just looks so sassy in this outfit....love the balloon hem and her new hairdo, too! She's just as cute as her sweet mom....Hope you're having a nice Labor Day weekend! .....Hugs from Texas....Patty
Love her boots! All of our public schools have to wear uniforms so we just see kids in khakis and polo shirts in blue, green or navy...boring, huh? This is a great page!
These photos were taken on the first day of school, and my dd is wearing her new 'look'...steampunk. Think H.G.Wells, Jules Verne, and the era of steam~powered engines! It is sort of a cross between Mary Poppins, Amelia Earhart, and dressing for a trip for 80 Days Around The World. My dd looked so cute, even if she didn't have all the 'right' accessories yet! She is looking for a pocketwatch and fingerless gloves. LOL! I found an image of a steam train online, and included it on this LO. TFL :-) P.S. thanks, Val & Jackie, for the stickpin!
